Lung Cancer Screening

The NHS recommends that people aged 55 to 74 years old who have ever smoked have lung cancer screening.
Barton Surgery patients are now being called as part of this national screening programme to provide a short telephone appointment to ask  some questions about your lung health.
You may then be offered a lung scan to check for any early signs of lung cancer.
You do not need to call or visit your GP,  you will be contacted by the screening service if eligible.   If you have received an invite and have any queries please contact the screening service direct :
